The Traveling Sole Takes Flight

We couldn’t be more overjoyed with how successful our launch last night was! A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our media friends and all our loved ones who came to show support, sip sangria, nibble on yummy sandwiches and above all left with a pair (sometimes two!) of The Traveling Sole Collection. Above all, a big thank you to the wonderful ladies behind SAPATO who were an absolute joy to work with. From our first exploratory meeting to samples to the launch they were all in sync with our vision. No wonder SAPATO has such staying power, these women are driven, focused, hard working and lots of fun!

For our event we handpicked three of our favorite “traveling souls” who we felt truly embody the aesthetic and principles of TheGypsetters.Net – Mikka Padua, Stephanie Kienle-Gonzalez and Rosanna Ocampo-Rodriguez. Mikka is the founder of one of our favorite online shopping sites – Seek The Uniq and we are just in love with all her travel for work and pleasure Instagram posts. Scouring the globe for the best finds from Indian slippers to Moroccan caftans to Vietnamese lacquer. This woman is all about bring the world to the home and the closet. Being our very first Stylish Traveler, there is no question that Stephanie is the epitome of the Gypsetter – from ethnic South Africa to sophisticated New York and Paris to wintery Chamonix and boho Rio de Janeiro, she never leaves home without a suitcase full of appropriate style and effortless chic. This gypsetting femme d’affaires brings her impeccable taste to her beautiful home and to her family furniture business – Philux. Since she began designing, Rosanna’s collections have always been inspired by destinations. Chantilly lace and dreams of Versailles, bold mixed mosaic prints and Barcelona’s Gaudi, sophisticated summery pieces inspired by the Hamptons. Her fun and flirtatious pieces, especially those in easy jersey are perfect traveling companions. Just like us, Rosanna is always looking forward to her next adventure and source of inspiration, always done with panache.

The Traveling Sole Collection and display will be available at the SAPATO boutique on the 2nd floor of Powerplant Mall, Rockwell Center and will be soon available online with international shipping!
