Kumamoto Oysters, San Francisco
posted by Stephanie in Indulgences

Tiny jewels from the sea… sweet, slightly nutty nestled in an almost perfect cup created by nature. Cultivated in the Pacific Ocean particularly in Japan and the West Coast, these gems are found in warmer waters and mature later than the other varieties so can be enjoyed even during summer. The San Francisco Market by the Ferry Building has a great selection of oysters from local cultivators. As soon as you get them, disappear into a pure moment of bliss with no fuss. Eat them standing up allowing the juices to drip down your wrists, enjoying each morsel as the hot sun kisses your skin and the cool sea breeze rushes through your hair. Being 31 weeks pregnant right now and suffering in this Manila heat, how I would give anything to be by the bay enjoying these little babies with a glass of cold white wine!
Love and Light, Stephanie
