DVF: The Golden Age

It’s a fabulous year for Diane von Furstenburg who celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the iconic Wrap Dress which has become every career, jet setting woman’s staple. Universally flattering, timeless and season-less it is perfect to take from the board room to the dance floor, from New York to Buenos Aires and most of all made from a silk jersey blend that is virtually wrinkle free.
Her L.A. Exhibit “Journey of a Dress” was a smash and only a few short months later at her Fall/Winter 2014 Fashion Show she wows the world with glittery golden versions of her chef d’oeuvre. We most definitely want one. www.dvf.com
We also love the soft, flowy lines of her black and white pieces. Mismatched prints, gentle, supple silk come together for a look thats sexy and feminine. In the days of botox and the search for the fountain of youth, Diane embodies THE ideal modern woman. Worldly, successful, romantic and confident in her own skin, welcoming her golden age with arms wide open.

We are two friends who were former magazine editors. Having moved onto other things, we both realized that the creative flow the publishing world used to offer us was missing from our lives. Armed with a common love of travel to the exotic and familiar, a penchant for the bohemian, an obsession with food and a lust for writing, we decided to collaborate our unique and fashionable journeys through life together in one passion project.
We are The Gypsetters.
