How deep is your love?

There is nothing more exciting than exploring the depths of the sea except perhaps space travel. When my husband and I came across an article on this incredible luxury submarine, both our reactions were quite crudely: “Wow. So cool.”
Lovers Deep is a private luxury submarine hotel that can pick you up off the Caribbean coast of St Lucia and can take you practically anywhere. Built for romance the service offers a private chef with an aphrodisiac menu of oysters, caviar and chocolate, champagne, rose petals on the bed and strangely enough a Barry White soundtrack. I personally would prefer some James Bond soundtrack as this is all very much “The Spy Who Loved Me.”
However at such a hefty price tag of US$292,800 per night you do have to ask yourself (albeit while swaying to the tune of the BeeGees) “how deep is your love?”
For now, I will happily set aside my Captain Nemo dreams and in lieu of under the sea romance opt for a good old scuba dive while holding hands.
