For those who are looking to infuse more bohemian pieces into their lives, whether it be for their home or for themselves, yet have no time to travel to Thailand, Marrakech or Turkey, there is an answer. Ongoing this weekend, August 16-17, 2014 at SMX Convention Center on the third floor of SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City, is the Le Souk Weekend Fair, One Fair, Tons of Unique Finds. 

Now on its third year, Le Souk Weekend Fair will feature many merchants that you would find in bazaars all over the world but now under one convenient roof here in Manila! Browse and buy items such as Argan oil from Morocco, lanterns from Japan, lacquerware from Vietnam and keepsakes from India.

Some noteworthy merchants are Asia Republiq with its fun and colorful items from India, Nepal and Tibet; Little Saigon Manila that sells Vietnamese decor as well as garments (just look for the lady in the ao dai) as well as local merchants selling artisanal products. Zentiments will be selling handcrafted items made by indigenous groups from different provinces including T’nalak items from the T-Boli tribes, Tikog banigs made by Samar’s local weavers and traditional Abel Iloko blankets, placemats and other beautiful finds. Samatta Leatherware offers handcrafted and hand-stitched leather products and Happy Star Child will offer its whimsical hand painted T-shirts. Last but not the least, don’t forget to buy the wonderful organic honey products from Milea Orchard & Bee Farm.
