Seek The Uniq in Hanoi
Vicki and I are both fans of www.seektheuniq.com simply because not only do we find kindred spirits in the ladies who run it but you can be sure that each piece is in limited quantity and has been lovingly sought from exotic corners of the world. We love the feminine vibe of this particular collection plus the fun kitschy colors that are found in every street corner in Vietnam. Think tropical chinoiserie!
It was about two years ago, after never ever setting foot in Vietnam find myself in the country three times in the same year and falling in love with everything about it. From the spectacular food, to the beautiful handicrafts and they way they manage to blend the old and the new, I found the country absolutely exhilarating. Check out our Gypsetters Guide to fast, paced Ho Chi Minh and of course in honor of their latest collection our Gypsetters Guide to romantic and nostalgic Hanoi. Feel like a good Pho? Enjoy Chef Greg Villalon’s easy cheat at home Pho Bo recipe. I would also like to share with you my personal Cha Ca La Vong recipe – this gorgeous Hanoian fish dish that has become a personal favorite. I can’t wait to go back to Vietnam and explore more of it… this time around I am definitely eyeing the stunning, newly opened Amanoi.
Love and Light, Stephanie

We are two friends who were former magazine editors. Having moved onto other things, we both realized that the creative flow the publishing world used to offer us was missing from our lives. Armed with a common love of travel to the exotic and familiar, a penchant for the bohemian, an obsession with food and a lust for writing, we decided to collaborate our unique and fashionable journeys through life together in one passion project.
We are The Gypsetters.
